Transformation Tuesday
That girl in the above picture was a loud, drunken, angry on the inside, Extremely happy on the outside fool who had no idea where she was going in life. FULL OF EXCUSES!!!
My parents split when I was 10, so my mom, sister and I moved away. When I was in grade 10, my sister in grade 12, our mother moved away to better herself in school. We were left to attend high school, pay rent, utilities, and buy food on a little bit of child support we got each month. We had to work full time jobs on top of school to afford everything.
Fast forward today.. that drunken, angry and confused mess on the floor picked herself up and got her act together. I decided I would attend University. My first year I struggled.. A LOT! I couldn't focus, my grades were 'okay.' I always had brain fog and exhausted. So one day I made the choice to order an at home program, which only required 30 minutes of my time, and came with 30 meals. EASY!
In 21 days I had lost weight and inches over all. But the biggest take away for me was learning to love myself. That Personal Development is not "for the weak." Its extremely important to take some time for yourself, and live with no regrets. To be incredibly grateful for each day. Clean eating and fitness can do a world of wonders for your mind & body.
We are all on our own journey. Don't compare yourself to someone else or be jealous of them. Instead, why not reach out, be inspired, begin your own journey and inspire someone? I totally believe in you! Now you need to believe in yourself!
Love,
Krista xo
