The 21 Day Fix program is usually the first program that my accountability partners and challengers start out with. So I have complied a list of Frequently asked questions that I have been asked over the years! First of all, if its on the approved foods list and fits into your container, you can eat it!
Can I still have treats while doing the 21 day fix? Yes! Absolute you can! You can swap out a yellow container 3 times a week for a treat. My favorite swaps are Wine and Popcorn!
How many eggs counts as a protein serving? 2 large eggs, or 8 large egg whites count as one red container. Or you can do one full large egg, 4 large egg whites.
Are all nuts considered the same for healthy fats? No! Some nuts contain higher calories as others, so make sure you are aware of this, and choose wisely! ;)
- 8 cashews
- 8 walnut halves
- 10 pecan halves
- 12 almonds
- 14 peanuts
- 20 pistachios
Can I have protein bar in substitute of a meal? If you don't recognize the ingredients, skip it, or count it as a treat. Instead, stock up on Kind bars. These are mostly nuts and honey, and will count as a blue and tsp. I always have a stash of Shakeology, organic rice cakes, nuts and tuna stash in my glove box for in case of emergency ;)
Can I still have sugar? Stick with your guide line for the safest bet! Maple Sugar, Raw sugar, honey and Stevia are my go to.
How often should I train my ABS? There are 3 parts of your ABS that you can actually see.
- Rectus Abdominis: the upper and lower part of your ABS
- External Obliques: runs diagonally down the sides of your body
- Serratus: the finger like muscles you find running from your lats to the sides of your ribcage
Per Autumn, you could do the 10- min ab fix daily, but is recommend you do it at least 3-4 days a week to maximize your results.
Does Almond Milk count as one of my yellow containers? You can use up to 4 oz of unsweetened almond or cocnut milk and do NOT count it as a container (which means it leaves more room for Wine this week. #F***YES!

How do I change My Fitness Pal to be a
21 Day Fix container tracker? From a computer, login. Settings >
Diary Settings — change “Meal Names:” to container colors.
PB2 VS All Natural Peanut Butter: PB2 is
lower in calories, BUTTTT its better to eat all natural organic Peanut butter- its
creamier and tastes better! Either way – count it as a teaspoon (I am currently in love with Barney Almond Butter).

I'm starving! HELP! If you’re ‘starving’ after a few days you may need to re-evaluate. If
you’re super active at work, chasing kids, have long days, etc.. you may need
to follow adjust and try the calculation on page 76 of the guide. We are all
different and react differently – following your body is important! Same thing
goes for those of you who may not be able to finish your
meals
