If you are looking for a sign to go workout.. THEN THIS IS IT!



When I used to start a fitness program I always had this mentality- its ALL or NOTHING, and I MUST start on a Monday. Well guess what? So many Monday's went by and I didn't start. Of of course "well the week is blown, I'll start next week." Or.. I'm going on vacation, so I'm goingt o full out enjoy myself.. which is great, but the whole starting over thing sucks! So today I am want to tell you how I mange to ENJOY myself, WITHOUT the guilty and kick your excuses once and for all!

1. Don't tell yourself that you must start Monday- no matter what or the week is blown. That is a terrible mentality, and LIFE HAPPENS! Didn't get a workout in today? That's okay- double up tomorrow! Rome wasn't built in a day, relax! 

2. When you get back from vacation- DON'T stress about the food you ate over the weekend, and the missed workouts. This is just going to make you crave sugar. Give yourself some credit! And enjoy the memories. 

3. Get back to the basics. Schedule you workouts, and do your food prep! 

4. Eat breakfast! Did you know that breakfast stands for "break-the-fast". This will help boost your metabolism and give you the much needed energy and confidence you need! 

5. Eat whole meals for dinner and lunch. Make sure on your plate you have a complex carb, veggies and protein. For snacks fruit and nuts or another form of healthy fats. This will give you a well rounded healthy diet. 

6. SLEEP!!! Make sure you are getting 7-9 hours of  sleep a night.

7. Consume more water!

Life is too short to miss out on cake at your nephews birthday, or chilling with a girlfriend eating ice cream and cheesy chick flicks!
